Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai SPOILER ALERT 19 December 2023: Abhira Asks Armaan About His Love-Life; Dadi Punishes Ruhi
Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Despite introducing the new generation of the show, the makers have failed to impress their audience. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Abhira fails to make a good impression on the Poddars with her modern thinking. She reaches the Goenka mansion for her pagphera ritual and Manish welcomes her with open arms. This leaves Ruhi extremely jealous. 

Today’s episode starts with Abhira rushing off to help Surekha. On the other hand, Rohit and Armaan have a heart-to-heart talk. Rohit explains how Ruhi feels lonely and isn’t happy after their marriage. Armaan advises him to just work on keeping her happy. Rohit also tells him to take care of Abhira. The next morning Manish tries to light the stove and Abhira helps him. Abhira thanks Manish for the clothes and he tells her that Armaan delivered her clothes. Manish gives Abhira a kachori, which reminds her of Akshara. Ruhi and Surekha look on as Manish and Abhira bond.


Ruhi expresses her sadness about Abhira trying to steal Manish’s attention and love from her. Abhira overhears their fight and gets emotional. She writes a letter to Manish expressing her gratitude and leaves from the Goenka mansion. Manish finds Abhira’s letter and feels frantic. As Abhira starts walking on the road, Armaan finds her. He asks her what happened and she tells him that her mother was her home and now she is all alone. To lift her spirits Armaan eats chaat with Abhira and he jokes with her. As the episode further progresses she asks him if he had someone in his life before. Deflecting the question, he asks her if she has anyone. Abhira reveals that she did in college, but he left for abroad for higher education. 

Back at the Poddar house, Dadi scolds Vidya for not being a good mother-in-law towards Ruhi and Abhira. Armaan and Abhira reach home. Armaan gets a call from Rohit for an important case and leaves Abhira outside the house. In the upcoming episode, it will be seen that Dadi will scold Abhira and make her wait outside the house. She will go on to punish Ruhi for giving Abira a glass of water. To pass the time, Abhira and Ruhi will play a game which will be overheard by Armaan and Rohit.
